Kathi dance doll is a traditional folk dance of Madhya Pradesh state. It is the festival of the Nimar region. This is the festival of worship of Parvati. This festival starts from Dev Prabodhini Ekadashi and ends on Mahashivratri. The dancers wear veils. There are usually three to eight to ten dancers in a Kathi party, who are called Bhagat.
