Gangaur Dance Dolls

Gangaur Dance dolls are made on the basis of the folk dance of India. Gangaur Dance is the Folk Dance OF Madhya Pradesh and the Gangaur festival of (M.P) is celebrated in reverence to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Gangaur’s name from the words ‘Gan’ is a synonym for Shiv and ‘Gaur’ stands for Parvati (Gauri). The womenfolk celebrate the festival of Gangaur with great devotion & zeal and all the rituals to be followed are observed by them. The festival is held in the month of ‘Chaitra’ (as per the Hindu calendar).
